Ricardo S. Mendes is a Portuguese multidisciplinary artist born in Setubal in 1994. Trained in circus arts, he studied atthe Lyon Circus School and the National Center for Circus Arts,where he perfected his skills in acrobatics, dancing and juggling. Before embarking on the circus, he trained inDraftsman Architect. With his talent and his passion, he quickly conquered the public and the critics. In 2021, the newspaperLe Monde had selected him among the “twelve artists to follow”.

 

He is best known for his stage performances, where he stands out as much for his impressive technique as for his quirky humor and charisma. He has collaborated with many companies such asThe New Noses, The Forgotten Company and The TBTF Collective. Ricardo S. Mendes has also worked for prestigious brands such asDior, Van Cleef, Galeries Lafayette and BHV Marais,for which he produced artistic performances.

 

He works regularly with video and social networks, where he shares his work and his artistic universe with his many fans and followers. He has participated in several television shows such asBlack box, Culturebox, Canal+ and France 4. In 2022, he had the opportunity to participate in the last clipby Ibrahim Maalouf, "Feeling Good", filmed in New York, where he juggled the city's streets and subways.

 

With his two faithful companions, Juri Bisegna and Timothé Vincent, he is associated with the Nouveaux Nez company, based in Bourg-Saint-Andéol. The trio regularly presents its creation"Mellow Yellow", a poetic and original show, a mix of acrobatics, dance and juggling.
